Return & Refund Policy
Our sarees and other clothing items are either handloom made/ handwoven/hand painted or hand dyed.
As these involve various activities by hand, there will be irregularities, inconsistencies and print errors.
These show the authenticity of the make and will not be considered as damage.
Furthermore, we at VAYANAM, run each order through multiple rounds of quality check for any damages.

We take utmost care and effort to make sure the product match its real colour. However, there will be 5-10% colour change as it depends on individual phone/laptop/browser pixel quality, image resolution, brightness etc.
At our sole discretion, we offer a return facility for eligible products if a return request is raised within three (3) days from the date of delivery.
Customers are required to record an opening / unboxing video at the time of delivery. This video is necessary to process any claims related to defective or incorrect products.
Eligibility for Return
A product shall be eligible for return only if:
- The return request is submitted within three (3) days from the date of delivery.
- The product is unused, unwashed, unworn, and in its original condition.
- All original tags, labels, packaging, accessories, and invoice are intact and returned along with the product.
- The product received is damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from the product ordered.
Non-Returnable Products
The following products shall not be eligible for return, exchange, or refund:
- Customized, personalized, made-to-order, pre-ordered, altered, fall-pico completed, blouse-stitched, or specially tailored products.
- Products that have been used, washed, damaged, stained, or altered after delivery.
- Products returned without original tags, packaging, accessories, or proof of purchase.
- Return requests raised after the expiry of three (3) days from the date of delivery.
Return Approval
All return requests are subject to verification and approval by the Company. The Company reserves the right to request photographs, videos, or any other evidence necessary to verify the condition of the product before approving a return.
Refunds
Upon receipt and successful inspection of the returned product, the Company may, at its discretion:
- Issue a refund to the original mode of payment; or
- Provide store credit; or
- Replace the product with the same or a similar product.
Refunds, where approved, shall be processed within a reasonable period after completion of the verification process.
Shipping Charges
Shipping, delivery, cash-on-delivery, convenience fees, and other service charges, if any, are non-refundable unless the return is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrectly delivered product.
Right to Reject Returns
The Company reserves the absolute right to reject any return, exchange, or refund request if it determines that the product does not satisfy the conditions of this policy or if the request is fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise made in bad faith.
International Orders – No Return, Exchange or Refund
Due to the nature of international shipping, customs procedures, import regulations, and associated logistics costs, all products shipped outside India shall be deemed final sale.
Accordingly, products delivered to international destinations shall not be eligible for return, exchange, replacement, cancellation, refund, or store credit for any reason, including but not limited to customer preference, size, colour variation, design variation, delay in delivery, or change of mind.
Customers are advised to carefully review the product description, specifications, measurements, images, and applicable policies before placing an international order.
In exceptional cases where the product received is substantially damaged during transit or materially different from the product ordered, the Company may, at its sole discretion and upon satisfactory verification, offer an appropriate resolution. The Company’s decision in this regard shall be final and binding.
Any customs duties, import taxes, local levies, or clearance charges imposed by the destination country shall be borne solely by the customer and shall not constitute grounds for return, refund, or cancellation.
REFUND POLICY:

Process: Refunds will be issued once the product is picked up and passes VAYANAM's quality check.

Timeframe: Refunds, where approved, shall be processed within a reasonable period after completion of the verification process.

Exceptions: Products bought during sales are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged of returned.

Damaged Products: Our team carries out rigorous quality checks before shipping out the products to our customers. However, damages caused in transit after the product has been shipped is beyond our control. If you receive damaged product in your order, we will replace it with another piece of the same or similar kind based on our stocks.
Kindly email us at vayanamsilksedit@gmail.com to inform us about the damage along with its picture within 48 hours from the time you receive your order and we will explain you the next steps. We will not entertain any information about damage received after 48 hours from the time you received your order.
